Statewide Training Programs

PPSD's Statewide Personnel and Payroll Services Training team is committed to developing and providing the instructional tools needed by departments to accurately understand the transactional business processes required to enter and process transactions in the personnel, payroll, Affordable Care Act (ACA), Leave accounting, and CalATERS system(s). As well as providing the tools needed to pull auditing and monitoring reports from the Management Information Retrieval Systems (MIRS).

All training programs and consultation services are designed to educate Personnel Specialists in applying proper procedures and policies of the Payroll Procedures Manual, Personnel Action Manual, CA Code of Regulations (CCR), Collective Bargaining Agreements and other reference materials used by Personnel Specialists.
