Additional Resources - Automation of Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) Contributions

Action Required by Department: Share the following information with all human resource (HR) office employees.

Description: On September 1, 2021, the State Controller's Office (SCO) implemented a change to automate the withholding of Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) in the Uniform State Payroll System.  Please see below, the resources that have been added on the SCO website to reflect the change.

The OPEB CBID will need to be completed to compute the employee’s OPEB Withheld amount.
