CSEMPL-Historical Updated as of September 13, 2022
Action Required by Department: Execute reports using the CSEMPL-Historical File in the Management Information Retrieval System (MIRS) as normal. Please note that with the recovery process, transactions for new hires at your agency, keyed on and after September 10, 2022, do not display data from the PERSONAL File. All data for transactions keyed from September 1, 2020 through September 16, 2022 is expected to be available with the CSEMPL-Historical File on September 19, 2022.
Date Incident Identified: September 9, 2022
Description: The CSEMPL-Historical File issue identified on September 9, 2022 has been resolved. The file was not providing a complete list of employment history transactions from the prior 24 months. No other issues or missing data were found with the CSEPML-Current, CSPMTS-Payments, CSPMTS-Deductions, CSLAS, THLAS, and POSITION File.

Military Leave Survey
Action Required by Department: Share the following information with all human resources (HR) office employees the process military leave.
Description: The State Controller's Office, Personnel and Payroll Services Division (PPSD) is committed to providing excellent customer service to all state department HR offices. To help ensure PPSD is providing the highest level of customer service, the division is conducting a survey to understand how agencies are processing military leave. Your responses will help PPSD identify areas of need and ultimately develop a military leave training course. Please take a few minutes to complete the Military Leave Survey. This survey will take approximately 10 minutes.
The survey will close on September 30, 2022.
