Affordable Care Act (ACA) – Compliance Report Update - A56 Flag Added

Action Required: Share the following information with Civil Service (CS) human resources (HR) office employees.

Description: Beginning October 3rd, 2022 (Monthly report) and November 1St 2022 (Quarterly report), the State Controller’s Office, Affordable Care Act program has added an A56 Flag to two Compliance Reports in the Affordable Care Act System (ACAS) for California State University (CSU) Campuses only. This addition is to assist CSU Campuses with prioritizing their work. Civil Service Agencies should ignore this column as it is only directed for CSU Campuses. The A56 Flag has been added to the following Compliance Reports:

Monthly:

  • PDA2050C – EE Without ACA Status Code
  • PDA2050L – Active EE With Separation Code

Quarterly:

  • PDQ2701C – Qrtly EE W/O ACA Status Code
  • PDQ2701L – Qrtly Active EE With Separation Code
