CSPMTS File Error Message in the Management Information Retrieval System (MIRS)

Action Required by Department: Please do not use the CSPMTS File in MIRS until further notice.

Date Incident Identified: November 21, 2022

Description: The CSPMTS File is generating a “Fatal Error” message for select departments, causing the CSPMTS File to be unusable at this time. If your department does not receive the error message, please use the report with caution. Although the State Controller’s Office (SCO) has not identified any errors or missing data in reports without the error message, it is not guaranteed that issues will not be discovered at a later time.

This issue is reoccurring from the previous week. SCO programmers are working diligently to find a lasting resolution. Your patience and cooperation is appreciated during this time. We will send a follow up communication once the incident has been resolved.

Population Affected: Human resource staff responsible for executing MIRS reports.

Bargaining Unit 2 Pay Scale Update

Action Required: Share the following information with all human resources (HR) office employees.

Description: Bargaining Unit 2 pay scales were updated on November 15, 2022 to reflect the General Salary Increase (GEN) effective July 01, 2022. An Employment History mass update will be done on November 22, 2022. Please refrain from keying any Personnel Action Requests (PAR) for these employees until November 23, 2022.
