Management Information Retrieval System (MIRS) Common Library Reports for New Ethnicity Fields and Values
Action Required by Department: Share the following information with all employees.
Description: Updated MIRS reports that reflect the new ethnicity values from Personnel Letter #22-006 Ethnic Origin – Moving from Employment History PIMS to the Affordable Care Act System, are now available. The reports can be found in the MIRS Common Library under the titles COM003, COM011, COM017, COM020, COM029, COM030, and COM031. See report details below:
- COM003: Report that identifies employees' missing or erroneous information. Ethnic Code has been replaced with Ethnic Code (New). Ethnic Name has been replaced with Ethnic Name (New).
- COM011: Report that counts employees by ethnicity and class title within an agency and unit. Ethnic Name (New) and Ethnic Name (Outdated) have been combined into one field to replace Ethnic Name.
- COM017: Report that compares your department's overall ethnic composition with the labor force parity you provide. Ethnic Name (New) and Ethnic Name (Outdated) have been combined into one field to replace Ethnic Group.
- COM020: Report has been removed. Due to the requirement of entering a value for each ethnicity and gender every time the report is executed, the report is no longer suitable.
- COM029: Report that produces an ethnic and gender breakdown of employee counts and percentages by class title. Ethnic Name (New) and Ethnic Name (Outdated) have been combined into one field to replace Ethnic Name.
- COM030: Report for CalHR Workforce Planning Analytics (Raw Data). Ethnic Code and Ethnic Name have been replaced with Ethnic Code (New), Ethnic Name (New), Ethnic Code (Outdated), and Ethnic Name (Outdated).
- COM031: Report for CalHR Workforce Planning Analytics (Appointments and Separations). Ethnic Code and Ethnic Name have been replaced with Ethnic Code (New), Ethnic Name (New), Ethnic Code (Outdated), and Ethnic Name (Outdated). In addition, Transaction Name has been added to the report.
