PD 672C Time and Attendance Report (With Calendar) is now available via Mobius View

Description: The State Controller's Office (SCO), Personnel and Payroll Services Division (PPSD) is pleased to announce that the PD 672C Time and Attendance Report (With Calendar) is now available on Mobius View.

As a reminder, on August 1, 2022, all paper versions of the PD672 will cease to be printed and will only be available on Mobius View under the following Report IDs and Report Names:

ConnectHR Telework Stipend Differential – Bargaining Units 01, 02, 03, 04, 07, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 21, and Excluded Employees

Action Required: Share the following information with all human resources (HR) office employees.

Description: Employees in a classification with a Collective Bargaining Identifier (CBID) identified within CalHR’s Pay Differential 453 Telework Stipend Differential are now able to receive the rate associated with the Telework Stipend Pay Differential digitally using the ConnectHR platform.  See below:

The updated version of the Telework Stipend Template must be used to create the batch payment file.  Files created using the older version of the Telework Stipend Template will not be accepted.

Before submitting the Telework Stipend Template, it is important to verify all transactions and their accuracy.

Management Information Retrieval System (MIRS) New eLearning Module

Action Required by Department: Share the following information with all human resources (HR) office employees.

Description: The State Controller's Office (SCO), Personnel and Payroll Services Division (PPSD) is pleased to share a new eLearning module for the Management Information Retrieval System (MIRS).  The “MIRS Procedure Overview” presentation is available to view on the SCO Website’s, MIRS Training page.  This is the third module in a series of six MIRS Introductory training courses.  The module focuses on creating and navigating through MIRS procedures.

Additional information regarding MIRS eLearning modules can be found in MIRS Letter 21-001.  If you have any questions regarding this letter, please contact the MIRS Helpdesk at ppsdmirs@sco.ca.gov.

Security Violation Error Message (260-164F) in PIMS

Action Required: Share the following information with all human resources (HR) office employees.

Description: If an HR office receives a Security Violation Error Message (260-164F) in PIMS on a newly appointed employee with an effective date prior to July 1, 2022, the following must be done:

  • Contact the losing agency and ask them to void the GEN, 505, and/or SAL
  • Key your appointment  
  • Repost the voided transaction(s) if applicable

 This should resolve the issue.
