Cal Employee Connect - 2025 Form W-2s Now Available!

Action Required: Human Resources (HR) Offices - Share the following information with all state employees. 

Description: 2025 Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statements (Form W-2) are now available on Cal Employee Connect (CEC). Employees who “opted-in” to use the W-2 Paperless feature will be able to view and download current and previous years’ Form W-2s using any internet-connected device. 

Employees who did not enroll by November 30, 2025 will have their 2025 Form W-2 mailed on or before January 31, 2026 and will have view-only access to their current and previous years’ Form W-2s. The next opportunity to enroll in W-2 Paperless will be February 1, 2026. This allows users who have opted-in, the ability to download PDF copies of all Form W-2s listed within CEC. 

If your employees have not registered with CEC, please have them sign up today at Cal Employee Connect. It takes less than five minutes to complete the process. Additional information and resources can be found on the CEC webpage.
