Basic Prerequisites

Introduction to Forms (run time: approximately 16 minutes)

The purpose of this training is to introduce you to the basic forms associated with personnel and payroll processing. This class is a prerequisite for all instructor-led classes offered by the State Controller’s Office.

 

Introduction to State Business Partners (run time: approximately 22 minutes)

The purpose of this training module is to introduce you to your state agency business partners and their reference tools. This class is a prerequisite for all instructor-led classes offered by the State Controller’s Office.

 

Mainframe Systems Overview (run time: approximately 48 minutes)

The purpose of this training module is to introduce you to eight SCO Mainframe Production, or SCOPROD, systems. This class is a prerequisite for all instructor-led classes offered by the State Controller’s Office.

 

CCR 599.608 Qualifying Monthly Pay Period (run time: approximately 15 minutes)

The purpose of this training is to provide an additional resource for personnel employees to reference the information necessary to accurately determine qualifying pay periods for full-time and fractional time-based employees per California Code of Regulations (CCR) 599.608. Qualifying pay periods for intermittent employees are addressed in the CCR 599.609 - Qualifying Monthly Pay Period for Hourly and Daily Rate Employees training.

 

CCR 599.682 Qualifying Service for Merit and Special In-grade Salary Adjustment (run time: approximately 16 minutes)

The purpose of this training is to provide an additional resource for personnel employees to accurately determine qualifying service for Merit and Special In-grade Salary Adjustments per the California Code of Regulations (CCR) 599.682.

 

CCR 599.683 Merit Salary Adjustment (run time: Approximately 20 minutes)

The purpose of this training is to provide an additional resource for personnel employees to accurately determine when/if employees shall receive Merit Salary Adjustments per the California Code of Regulations (CCR) 599.683.

 

CCR 599.685 Special In-Grade Salary Adjustment (run time: approximately 15 minutes)

The purpose of this training is to provide an additional resource for personnel employees to accurately determine when/if employees shall receive Special In-Grade Salary Adjustments per the California Code of Regulations (CCR) 599.685.
