Training Registration Process

There should be one Training Coordinator who registers all students for each agency/department. If you are a Personnel Specialist and would like to register in PPSD Training classes, please contact your Training Coordinator or email us at ppsdtraining@sco.ca.gov for more information.

  1. Click here: Personnel/Payroll Services Training Registration to register a student for Personnel/Payroll Services Training classes.
  2. Verify the student meets the prerequisites for the desired class. Prerequisites ensure that each Personnel Specialist succeeds in learning the subject matter offered in the class. Personnel Specialists who lack the required experience may have difficulty with the material and detract from the class. If a student is unable to maintain the pace of the class, the instructor may request that he/she return to his/her agency/department.
  3. Enroll the student in the training class. Please DO NOT attempt to enroll more than FIVE students per class, per agency/department.
    Please note: If you see a class title indicating a specific agency/department, that class is open only to that agency/department, based on the results of our Needs Assessment. All other enrollments will be removed.
  4. The student will receive a system-generated confirmation email from email@gosignmeup.net upon enrollment. We suggest that the student forward the confirmation email to their supervisor for recordkeeping.
