REMINDER: Promptly address messages sent to your Departmental Universal Email

Action Required by Department: Share the following information with all human resources (HR) office employees. 

Description: All HR Offices must promptly address all email messages that come through their Departmental Universal Email established with the State Controller’s Office (SCO). The SCO’s expectation is that all authorized HR representatives respond to inquiries at their earliest convenience to ensure all communication, requests, and replies are received timely. Below are examples of inquiries sent to the Departmental Universal Email:

  • Confirmation of Cal Employee Connect/ConnectHR transactions (Direct Deposit and Address Changes)
  • PR250 Notifications
  • PSD40 Notifications

Population Affected: All HR Offices.
