Process Change - Direct Deposit – Employee Bank Account Closed

Action Required by Department: Share the following information with all departmental human resources (HR) employees and take appropriate action as necessary.

Description: Process Change - Direct Deposit – Employee Bank Account Closed

Effective with the August 2023 monthly payroll warrant, when SCO is notified that an employee’s bank account is closed and funds have been returned, the employee will be removed from Direct Deposit.

SCO will continue to key the redeposit, however, SCO will no longer rekey pay. Agencies must confirm the redeposit has posted in pay history and re-key/PIP pay.
