ViewDirect User Instructions are now available on the SCO's Web site. ViewDirect is an on-line report distribution system for use by personnel and payroll offices. These instructions can be accessed via the Department/Campus Reference Data page.

Employees may now obtain information on How to Cancel a Deduction through the SCO's Web site. This information can be accessed via the State Employee Information page. In addition, detailed Deduction information is provided in the Payroll Procedures Manual, Section H.

The SCO recently added a State of California Web Sites page. It is accessible from the State Employee Information page and provides an easy way to access other state department Web sites.

Information regarding The Work Number® has been added to the State Employee Information page. The Work Number® provides a convenient and safe method for employees in participating departments and campuses to obtain authorizations for verifiers (e.g., prospective employers, landlords, and lenders) to verify employment and/or income.
